Common questions
Why book a trip through Stride?
It's free. Someone's already driving where you want to go. You ride along, split the fuel, and pay less than a bus ticket. Stride doesn't add a commission on top. What you see on the listing is what the driver gets.
How do I use Stride?
Grab the app from the App Store or Google Play.
Which cities does Stride cover?
Anywhere in Greece. The most active routes right now are between Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Larissa, Volos, and Ioannina. If yours isn't there yet, post it.
How do I create a Stride account?
Less than a minute. Sign in with your phone number, we text you a code, you punch it in. That's the account.
How do I book a ride?
Hit search from the home screen. Browse what's available, send a request to the driver you like. They approve, the booking lands in your inbox.
How do I publish a ride as a driver?
Add a vehicle to your profile first. Then publish a ride: route, date, time, how many seats, what you're charging per seat. Passengers send requests, you decide who's in.
What if I don't see any rides?
Turn on alerts for the route and we'll ping you when one shows up. Also worth telling friends about Stride. More people means more rides.
Is it safe to ride with a stranger?
Phone numbers are verified on both sides before anyone can book or publish. Every trip ends with mutual reviews, so you can check a driver's history before you book. If something feels off about a user, their profile has a Report option.
